Job Description
A specialist hospital is seeking a retina specialist. The MD should be trained in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of specific parts of the complex human visual system. The medical treatments and surgical procedures used by retina specialists are extremely exacting and delicate. Most retinal surgeries require a microscope and are therefore called microsurgical procedures.
Requirements
MD
Board-certified in Ophthalmology or Neurology in the country of origin (American Board, FRCS or equivalent)
Undergone training in a medical retina Fellowship
At least three (3) years working experience after the specialization
The candidate must have demonstrated clinical excellence and have a track record in teaching and research.
